Habitat for Humanity of KC Receives $150,000 from Artisan Home Tour

The 2024 Artisan Home Tour, held in August and hosted by the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City (KCHBA), raised more than $150,000 for Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City. Funds were raised through a combination of ticket sales, builder donor events and sponsorships.
As the region’s largest nonprofit home builder, Habitat KC partners with thousands of families each year, helping them build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable housing. This partnership underscored the shared belief of both organizations that everyone deserves a safe, decent and affordable place to call home.
“We are deeply grateful for our partnership and the collective effort that has gone into raising these funds. Together, we have demonstrated the power of collaboration, shared vision, and mutual commitment to homeownership for all. We look forward to the positive change we can continue to make together,” said Lindsay Hicks, president/CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City.
Presented by Ferguson and Monogram, the 2024 Artisan Home Tour showcased some of the region’s finest craftsmanship in residential construction and celebrated the skills of our local artisans.
“It’s an honor to invest in an effort that will provide much needed housing for communities across the region,’” said Will Ruder, executive vice president of the KCHBA.
