Seven Homes to be Featured on 2018 Artisan Tour

The Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City (HBA) is proud to again present the Artisan Home Tour, June 7 – 17, 2018. The tour will feature seven homes built by six of Kansas City’s finest custom home builders.

“This tour is different from the Parade of Homes in that it allows visitors to see high-end, unique products and features that they wouldn’t see otherwise,” said Josh Clark, executive vice president of the HBA. “It offers the custom home builders to opportunity to showcase their elevated standards of design, superior craftsmanship, and exquisite products — these homes will truly be one-of-a-kind.”

Six of the homes are located in Johnson County and one is located in Jackson County. All the homes will be available for purchase with prices averaging around $1 million.

The HBA is again partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities for this event, as it did in 2015. A portion of the ticket sales will benefit RMHC to help in its mission of keeping families close.

“The builders felt it was important to make this tour a fundraiser,” said Bruce Rieke, president of B.L Rieke Custom Homes and Artisan Home Tour Chairperson. “We chose Ronald McDonald House because we have a long-standing relationship with RMHC and feel it’s a natural fit to help families and children who need a place to stay because that’s what we do…we build homes.”
