Custom home builder Allure Luxury Homes has been building homes for five decades and believes “details make the difference.”

It all started more than five decades ago, in 1966, when Erwin “Dusty” Rhodes planted his sign in the yard of the company’s first home built by what would become one of Kansas City’s most iconic, long-lasting home building companies in Kansas City. In the early 1980s Dusty was joined by his daughter, Lindy, and son, Rocky, who would eventually take over the daily operations. Since the company’s inception, Dusty Rhodes Homes has built more than 2,000 homes spanning throughout the greater metropolitan Kansas City area.
