November: National Diabetes Awareness Month

November is designated as National Diabetes Awareness Month to bring attention and guide understanding to this disease. The Home Builders Association Of Greater Kansas City is honored to partner with JDRF in the 2020 Artisan Home Tour to help raise awareness of Type 1 diabetes.

Throughout the month of November, people all across the country work towards facilitating conversation surrounding Type 1 diabetes. The KCHBA is working to help highlight the issues facing the T1D community through partnership with JDRF.

As charitable partner for the 2020 Artisan Home Tour, tickets sold to view the custom homes featured will help to fund research to find a cure for T1D. Join in the fight against T1D when you attend the Artisan Home Tour in June 2020 and by liking, sharing, and following JDRF Kansas City Chapter and the Artisan Home Tour of Greater Kansas City on Facebook.

The 2020 Artisan Home Tour, presented by Ferguson Enterprises, will be the first three weekends in June 2020: June 5-7, 12-14 and 19-21. The tour will feature seven homes built by some of Kansas City’s finest custom home builders and showcase one-of-a-kind interiors and exteriors.
